Nursing care at home in north Brisbane
I'm an Ahpra-registered Enrolled Nurse. I visit people in their own homes across north and north-west Brisbane to provide nursing care, so they can stay comfortable and independent where they want to be.
Nursing care I can help with
- Wound care, including dressings using aseptic (clean, sterile) technique
- Medicines: managing and giving medication, including tablets, patches, nebulisers and medicines through a feeding tube
- Health checks: blood pressure, pulse, temperature and other observations
- Diabetes and long-term conditions: monitoring and keeping an eye on changes
- Catheter care
- Skin care and pressure sore prevention
- Falls risk and nutrition checks
- Care planning and clear written care notes
- End-of-life nursing care (see aged and palliative care)
Where I work now
Since March 2024 I've worked as an Enrolled Nurse with BeeHive Nursing Services, delivering person-centred nursing to people living at home with complex needs. That includes disability care, mental health and psychosocial support, dementia, aged care and palliative care.
Before nursing, I spent years as a disability support worker in people's homes, so I understand what it means to be a respectful guest in someone's house.
What is an Enrolled Nurse?
An Enrolled Nurse (sometimes called an EN or Division 2 nurse) is a qualified nurse registered with Ahpra, the national body that registers health workers in Australia. I trained at TAFE Queensland and completed my Diploma of Nursing in 2022. You can check my registration (NMW0002640996) on the Ahpra public register.

Do you come to my home?
Yes. I provide nursing care in your own home. I drive and have my own car, and I cover north and north-west Brisbane.
Can you help with wound dressings?
Yes. Wound care using aseptic technique is part of my everyday nursing work.
Can you help manage my medicines?
Yes. I manage and give medication, including tablets, patches, nebulisers and medicines through a feeding tube.
Are you registered?
Yes. I am an Enrolled Nurse registered with Ahpra, registration number NMW0002640996, valid to May 2027.
